After its recent world premiere at the 77th annual International Motor Show in Geneva, the Saab BioPower 100 Concept is heading for U.S. shores for its North American debut at the forthcoming 2007 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) that will take place at the Javits Convention Center early this April. The Saab BioPower 100 features the first production based turbo engine developed to run on pure bioethanol fuel.

Saab's latest development in alternative fuel technology is embarked in the Saab BioPower 100 Concept displaying the vehicle's capability in combining turbo charging and sophisticated engine management with pure bioethanol fuel.

The Saab BioPower 100 Concept is aboard the 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine from the Saab 9-5 SportCombi models, developing 150 hp. When running on E100, the Saab BioPower 100 Concept delivers a maximum output of 300 hp at 5,800 rpm and a peak torque of 295 lb.-ft. rotating between engine speeds of 3,000 and 5,100 rpm. The engine is coupled with a manual gearbox and quality clutch parts like pressure plate similar to VW pressure plate found in the VW Phaeton, one of Saab 9-5's competitors in the executive car segment. Compared to the standard gasoline engine installed on the Saab 9-5, the Saab BioPower 100 Concept offers more power and torque output, thanks to Saab's turbo charging technology that gives greater combustion efficiency. It also comes with Saab's new Trionic engine management system that controls the throttle setting, ignition timing, fuel injection and turbo boost pressure of the engine running on E100 fuel. As a result, Saab BioPower 100 Concept offers low fuel consumption and reduces the harmful CO2 emissions to enter the environment.

The Saab 9-5 Aero SportCombi with BioPower 100 Concept drivetrain retains the standard features of the 9-5 base model, with new features like limited-slip differential, larger front brake discs and calipers, and a dual pipe rear exhaust system with tailpipes similar to Saab's Aero X concept unveiled last year.

Nissan Motors has released the latest sports car model that adds up to the Japanese automaker's extensive lineup of Z models. This time, the new Z model is built by NISMO, the motor sports and performance division of Nissan Motor Company.

The newest addition is the 2007 NISMO 350Z that will roll out in markets starting in July 2007.

The NISMO 350Z features an aggressive front fascia highlighted by the vehicle's chin spoiler. An extended rear fascia with underbody diffuser and a rear wing provides enhanced cornering and handling performance, as well as completing the overall sporty appearance of the 2007 NISMO 350Z. Other exterior features include additional body welds and front and rear reinforcements, special body dampers mounted in the front radiator core support and rear cargo area, High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-xenon headlights and LED brake lights, distinctive taillights, heated outside mirrors, aluminum hood, distinctive vertical door handles, and NISMO-branded tuned dual exhaust with chrome exhaust tips.

To provide enhanced aerodynamics, Nissan included a raised rear deck and TBD coefficient of drag. Customers can choose between four exterior paint finish for the 2007 NISMO 350Z including Redline Red, Magnetic Black, Silver Alloy, Pikes Peak White. To complete the exterior package, a special NISMO-branded gunmetal gray RAYS super lightweight forged-alloy wheels measuring 18-inch front and 19-inch rear are featured as a standard component. The wheels are wrapped with 245/40WR18 front, 265/35WR19 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires.

The interior comes with exclusive styling and materials providing a comfortable driving experience for customers. Interior highlights include specially shaped driver's seat, unique black cloth sports seats with red inserts, Red stitching throughout the interior, special NISMO white-faced tachometer, serialized NISMO-etched aluminum plaque mounted on the center console, and driver-oriented two-passenger interior environment. Driver/passenger control features and other interior components include 3-bay gauge pods, power windows with auto one-touch up and down, power door locks, 8-way manual driver's seat/4-way manual passenger's seat, standard automatic temperature control, lockable rear luggage box behind passenger seat, center console with aluminum trim, aluminum pedals, and HomeLink Universal Transceiver.

The 2007 NISMO 350Z also comes with a bunch of safety and security features, which include Nissan's Advanced Air Bag System, 3-point ALR/ELR seatbelts, front seatbelts with pretensioners and load limiters, Zone Body construction with front and rear crushable zones, energy-absorbing steering column, active head restraints, and standard vehicle security system and immobilizer.

Under the hood of the 2007 NISMO 350Z is the next-generation 3.5-liter 24-valve DOHC V6 (VQ35HR) engine. It is rated at 306 horsepower at 6800 rpm and 268 lb-ft amount of peak torque at 4800 rpm. Moreover, the engine is equipped with high-quality engine parts like High the eCVTCS (electromagnetic variable exhaust cam timing), twin knock sensors, and improved cooling and stiffer engine block structure. Skoda to arrive in Australia

Skoda leading automaker in Czech Republic and a subsidiary of Volkswagen maker of the unparalleled VW engine part has announced recently that it will return to Australia in October. It can be recalled that Skoda used to be treated as a big joke in the automotive world but with the disciplined that it gets from its German parent company; Skoda has been able to obtain Teutonic know-how, engineering and quality standards which has helped it to become the automaker it is today.

Skoda vehicles are to be distributed by Volkswagen Group Australia after its debut at the Sydney Motor Show. The lineup for Australia will include mid-size front-wheel-drive Octavia sedan and wagon plus the funky-looking five-door-wagon-cum-people mover called the Roomster. Both of these models were built at a modern plant at Mlada Boleslav near Prague.

To lead the range is a high-performance 147 kW, 2 liter FSI turbocharged Octavia RS. Volkswagen also plans to add the VW Polo-sized Fabia next year to the range of vehicles to be sold in Australia. The VW Polo-sized Fabia has been previously presented at the Geneva Motor Show. And by 2009 Volkswagen will launch a new generation version of its long-wheelbase Superb sedan.

The basic selling point of Skoda is its prices and this same strategy is what the automaker will also employ in Australia. The prices of Skoda vehicles to be sold in Australia will start from $16,000 for the Fabia and up to the mid $40,000s for the Superb.

And although Skoda vehicles are built using VW engine parts and components it is still 5 to 8 percent cheaper that its equivalent Volkswagen models due to the low-cost production price at Eastern Europe. Volkswagen Group Australia executive this makes the Skoda especially appealing to cost-conscious Australian buyers who wants European cars.

The plan to sell Skoda in Australia has been developed last year, however pricing and local identity issues have delayed the plans. But now since everything has been finally settled the moving is finally moving forward with its plans.

Matthew Weisner Volkswagen Group Australia general manager, press and public relations have been appointed head of Skoda Australia and part of his responsibility is to re-launch the brand. The first Octavia and Roomster are to be sold through 15 VW dealerships. Wiesner also emphasized the Skoda and VW would be distinct even with BMW which sells its Mini brands through associated dealers. "You won't see shared Volkswagen-Skoda showrooms. We've got to give them more separation. Obviously we need to protect what we've done with Volkswagen but at the same time grow the Skoda branding," said Weisner.

But eventually half of VW's 56 dealers nationally will be made to sell Skodas. "By the end of 2008 we'd like to have about 25 dealers. The regional-rural side of the business will be very important, particularly with Skoda's turbo-diesel line-up," added Weisner.

After-sales services are also going to be improved and with the well developed network and highly trained technicians, servicing and logistics is not going to be a problem. Despite the seemed to be flawless sales plan of Volkswagen in Australia, Weisner is still worried that the company's lack of profile may affect the sales turnover. It should be noted that Skodas have not been sold in Australia for almost 25 years.

"We've got to be creative about how we sell the Skoda message. We need to reasonably clever in how we go about it. It's a pretty congested market, so we have to come up with a reasonable answer to the question of why you would consider a Skoda," explained Weisner. He also described himself as"cautious but optimistic" about Skoda.

Presently there 41 different passenger car brands that are fighting to take a slice of the sales pie and Skoda must try to find its way through the ultra competitive market. Another fear of Weisner is that the Skoda may cannibalize VW sales. But then he said, "Yes, we have to be mindful of that. That's why it has taken such a long time to put this together. We need to be very careful how we approach both marques, because there's no point robbing Peter to pay Paul. You get one opportunity to do it properly."

Weisner also admitted that positioning Skoda without affecting the VW sales is one of the challenges that he is facing right now. "We're hoping the Skoda buyer will be an aspirational European buyer who might not have been able to stretch themselves before. They might always have been Japanese buyers who have aspired to Europe and hopefully we'll give them that opportunity," said Weisner.

Last year has been a very good year for VW Group Australia by selling more than 20,000 vehicles and they are hoping that the coming of the Skoda will further help VW Australia to increase their sales.

Daihatsu Copen 1.3-liter Headed for the UK Market

The Daihatsu Copen, a 2-door roadster model from the Japanese car manufacturer is poised to arrive in dealer showrooms all over the United Kingdom. Although the Daihatsu Copen is exclusively sold for the Japanese Kei-car market, UK-based Daihatsu Vehicle Distributors Limited convinced the Japanese automaker to revamp some of the vehicle's components including the small engine with only 660 cc displacement to adapt in the European vehicle standards.

In addition, to comply with the European Whole Vehicle Type Approval, Daihatsu equipped the Copen with a larger 1.3 litre petrol engine that now pumps out an additional 19 hp and a 14.5 lb.-ft. increase of peak torque, for a total of 86 hp at 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 88.5 lb ft at 4,400 rpm. Daihatsu said the Copen offers an improved fuel efficiency and low fuel consumption rate, thanks to the advance engine systems like Dynamic Variable Valve Timing (DVVT) which enhances low-speed pulling power, the compact twin overhead camshaft unit equipped with alloy head and block. Moreover, the Daihatsu Copen also comes with the first ever self regenerating catalytic converter made palladium, the most heat sensitive material used in catalytic converters. As a result, the catalytic converter has the ability to regenerate and prolong its function in reducing CO2 exhaust emission coming out from the Daihatsu Copen.

With the new engine, the Daihatsu Copen can now sprint from 0 to 62 mph time in just 9.5 seconds, about 2 seconds faster than the previous 660 cc engine. The Copen roadster can reach an electronically limited full throttle speed of 112 mph.

According to Paul Tunnicliffe, Daihatsu Managing Director, "We are all car enthusiasts here at Daihatsu and were instrumental in bringing the original model to market in the UK. With this lively new engine and a highly competitive price, we are delighted not only to have a 'halo' model in our range but to be able to offer fellow enthusiasts such a characterful and affordable fun car."

The revised Daihatsu Copen for the UK market received several facelift from the Japanese automaker. The small car retains its sporty and compact body styling with a rounded design. Compared to VW Fox parts like the trapezoidal headlamps, The Daihatsu Copen gets oval shaped headlamps as well as oval shaped rear lamps. The small rear boot spoiler is one of the new features of the vehicle. Of course, the Daihatsu Copen still features the electronically operated folding hard top roof made of lightweight aluminum.

Inside, the new Daihatsu Copen is equipped with standard safety components including front seats with pretensioners and force limiters, twin front airbags, dual side-impact door beams, Auto-locking restraints (ALR), and reinforced front side-members and front sub-frame. VW Polo BlueMotion Headed for Sexy Green Car Show

In addition, the engine also features some of the advanced powertrain technology like the electronically controlled direct injection system as well as exhaust gas turbo charger, improved Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), EGR cooler, and electrically activated EGR valve. Mercedes Benz Hoses for a Better Flow

The main purpose of the Mercedes Benz hoses in your vehicle is to see to it that vital fluids keep circulating in the engine parts. Usually, these hoses are made of two rubber layers with a layer of fabric in between. Since they are made of rubbers, they usually deteriorate with age and exposure to heat.

Mercedes Benz hoses generally consist of radiator hose and heater hose (coolant hoses), fuel hose and power steering hose. Each of these has its important role.

The radiator hose provides a flexible connection for coolant flow between the engine and the radiator. There are two kinds of radiator hoses. One is the upper radiator hose and the other one is the lower radiator hose. In order to withstand heat, vibration, pressure, and cooling system chemicals, they are both made typically of reinforced synthetic rubber. Together with the heater hose, they are called as coolant hoses and have the purpose of providing a flexible connection for coolant flow between the engine and the radiator and the engine and the heater core. Ideally, these coolant hoses should be inspected at least twice a year and changed every four years. This is mainly because recent studies show that hoses really begin to break down from the inside out. This process generates fine cracks in the wall of the hose tube and is called electrochemical degradation (ECD). When these fine cracks start to extend from inside the hose tube to the outside, the coolant can then seep through these cracks and attack the hose reinforcement. When this condition is not properly prevented, it will eventually develop into a split, blister or a leak. It is also suggested that you change any hose whenever when you replace a cooling system part that is connected to it.

The power steering hose, on the other hand, connects the power steering pump to the cylinders. This enables your vehicle to turn left and right easily. There are basically two hoses that make up the power steering system. One is the high-pressure hose that is made up of reinforced synthetic compound and has hose fittings that are usually double-flared compression. It carries high-pressure oil from the power steering pump to the steering gear. The low-pressure hose may not use compression fittings because of the lesser amount of pressure that passes through it. It also brings oil from the steering gear back to the pump or its reservoir. Leaks or damages on this hose could result to a loss of power steering assist.

From its name, the fuel hose has the purpose of transporting gasoline from the tank to the engine. The fuel hose is made to withstand gasoline and alcohol, and is reinforced to hold pressure. The reason it needs to be replaced is that the internal flaking of this hose, which releases small pieces of rubber can end up plugging fuel injectors or carburetor circuits.

The worst case scenario when your Mercedes Benz hoses are not properly maintained? Well, the coolant may leak and the engine may overheat. You may end up stuck in the middle of the road with smoke steaming out from your car's hood. To prevent this, all you need is proper maintenance.

Environment-friendly Concept Car from Volvo: The XC60 Concept

Volvo has been producing safety centered cars for the past 80 years and the company's name is synonymous with road safety and safety systems integrated into their cars. And today, the company is making another step towards providing cars safe not only for the occupants but also for the environment.

The car's in-line engine is the same petrol engine used by the company on their luxury vehicle the S80 in 2006 but designed to take E85 fuel which is 85 per cent bio-ethanol and 15 per cent gasoline. The result is lower emissions and same high performance that buyers expect from a Volvo. Chrysler's Weakness Attracts More Suitors

DaimlerChrysler AG's announcement Wednesday is expected to create a whirl of speculation about who would be interested in the Auburn Hills-based Chrysler. With a large amount of capital available on various markets today, possible suitors could include private equity groups and other automakers. The former could invest heavily in the auto supply sector while the latter could venture on aiming a bigger presence in North America.

The anxious workers were rattled by what DaimlerChrysler CEO Dieter Zetsche said. "In order to optimize and accelerate the presented plan we are looking into further strategic options with partners beyond the business cooperation partners mentioned," Zetsche said. "In this regard, we do not exclude any option. ..."

Renault-Nissan, the Franco-Japanese alliance that pursued an alliance with General Motors Corp. last year, could be one of Chrysler's suitors.

"There are two things working in Chrysler's favor here," said John Casasa, managing partner at New York-based Casesa Strategic Advisors. "There is a great deal of capital out there, and there still are companies that want to establish a presence in North America. Renault-Nissan is the first that comes to mind. One of these Chinese companies could look at Chrysler to get a huge distribution network and established brands, but that might not be realistic at this point."

Another potential suitor is General Motors Corp. A German newspaper earlier reported that DaimlerChrysler is already in talks with GM about a probable deal. When asked about the report, Dieter Zetsche, DaimlerChrysler AG CEO, declined to comment. "Realistically, there are a limited number of potential buyers," said Jack Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst of Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com.

Nerad added, "It is doubtful that another European-based company would want to acquire the company, and the Japanese companies that are large enough to consider such an acquisition seem to be doing quite well in North America on their own."

However, analysts in the industry are saying that Chrysler's truck-heavy lineup could scare off some potential buyers.

"The same factors that made Chrysler a darling of the public and press as recently as two years ago -- trucks, SUVs and rear-drive sedans -- are the same factors that have hurt its fortunes recently," Nerad said. "Dealing with market swings, like the recent shift to vehicles that offer greater fuel economy, are an important factor in continuing success in the automobile business. Since many Chrysler executives were schooled at Mercedes-Benz, which is less vulnerable to such shifts than a mass-market manufacturer is, it is possible they did not anticipate the critical nature of dealing with change. Now they are dealing with it, but rather painfully."

Toyota Plant Site Still Unclear

After Toyota has overtaken Daimler-Chrysler in 2006 and took over the third spot in the leader board that lists the biggest auto sellers in the US, it posted a strong start in the 2007 year which puts them on a spot which took them to the second spot from Ford Motor Company this year. Indeed, the Japanese car maker seems like one of their cars pushing ahead with no intention to engage the brakes and they are moving quite fast ahead.

In connection with this, the biggest Japanese car maker is planning to build another plant in the US. But where it will be put up is still uncertain to date.

The planned plant will provide 2,000 jobs aside from the 10,000 jobs that the plant will indirectly provide and it is one of the reasons why the site for the new plant is generating much interest from different areas which are eager to have a plant built on their place. But Toyota is still keeping the plans under cover. The most revealing answer from Toyota comes from the company's spokesman, Dan Sieger, who said that "we are actively looking at sites". The Wall Street Journal though cited Chattanooga, Tenn.; Marion, Ark.; Alamo, Tenn.; and Davidson, N.C. as possible sites for the Toyota plant.

As of now Chattanooga still would not comment on the possible building of a Toyota plant but they already have a 1,600-acre industrial site ready for use. The industrial site is once a part of a former Army TNT plant. Thus, it is labeled as a "brownfield" which means a redeveloped former industrial site. And experts see that it would work against Chattanooga since no Japanese car maker has built a plant on a location such as that. In fact, Michael Randle, the editor and publisher of Southern Business and Development magazine guesses that Toyota would locate their plant in Marion, Ark. instead.

But Tisha Calabrese-Benton, spokeswoman for the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, stated that the industrial site in Chattanooga has never been categorized as a brownfield. She further added that some cleanup job was done to the site to remove limited areas of contamination. The site is now clean enough that it reaches residential standards, she said. In fact, the site is insured if anything is found there, Hamilton County Mayor Claude Ramsey stated.

Toyota meanwhile said through Sieger that they have located their previously built plants on greenfield locations. Greenfields are actually sites that are either agricultural or undeveloped. He added that while they look at the fact that a site is a greenfield or a brownfield, it is not an absolute prerequisite for a decision on the side of the company. But in no way is this an assurance to Chattanooga that a plant will be located on their turf since auto companies prefer greenfield sites because there is usually but not always adequate space nearby for suppliers. This is what Steven Szalasky, an economist working at the Center for Automotive Research, said.

Toyota is joining the bandwagon of Japanese car makers that are building plants in the Southeastern part of the United States since the labor costs in the said area is relatively lower than other parts of the country. In fact, Tennessee is working hard to attract carmakers to put up plants in the state which would not only help the company save on labor costs but will also help the city in the sense that new jobs will be up for grabs. An example of the commitment of Tennessee to attract car manufacturers to the area is the recent move by Nissan Motor Co. to relocate its North American headquarters to Nashville which was located previously in California.

World's rarest Lambo goes on sale, Volkswagen introduces all new Passat BlueMotion

The acquisition of the world's rarest Lamborghini Bertone Miura Roadster by an American Collector is one that can be considered as a history making sale. Adam Gordon, a New York real estate developer and car collector was the lucky person who bought the Lamborghini's Miura.

The Miura is said to be the most beautiful and undeniably the most desirable post-war sports car ever built for the road. Only 767 Miuras were built between 1967 and 1973. The P400SV now commands prices of up to $800,000. In the year 1968 Lamborghini's factory produced a single Miura Roadster designed by Bertone for the 1968 Brussels Car Show.

The prototype was later presented at car shows throughout the world before it was finally sold to the Boston Museum of Transportation where it remained for many years before it was bought by various prominent collectors. Despite the fact that demands for a production version of the Miura Roadster was overwhelming but still has remained a one-off.

And today the world's only factory Lamborghini Miura convertible has once again makes its way to another collector. Mr. Gordon plans to restore the car to its original 1968 Brussels Salon glory. Gary Bobileff, a renowned Lamborghini restoration specialist is tasked to do the project.

The restoration to be done on the Miura Roadster is not going to be easy since it's going to be a group-up restoration and will require not lesser than two years. It is expected that after the restoration the Miura Roadster will once again become one of the rarest and most valuable classic cars in the world.

Lamborghini historian and author of the soon to be released book "Lamborghini Miura" Joe Sackey says, "This event is automotive history in the making. Consider that Ferrari's ultimate GTO is valued by some in excess of $12 million and even though they have competition heritage, 39 were supposedly made. The Miura Roadster is a true one-off, by comparison, and even though it is not competition inspired, its heritage is that of a "prototype show car" perhaps even more valuable to some collectors."

In other news: In Wolfsburg Germany, Volkswagen, Europe's largest automaker and brand of famous auto parts like Volkswagen heater core is set to unveil the second of what it promised in the extended range of BlueMotion models at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show scheduled next month. The automaker is proud to present its super-frugal version of the sixth-generation Passat capable of running up to 870 miles in between fill-ups.

The new Passat, scheduled to go on sale across Europe later this year would be offered in both sedan and wagon body styles. The vehicle is rumored to achieve a combined city/highway average of 47 mpg which is a 6.6 mpg improvement on the standard Passat model. 2008 Volkswagen R32 to Debut at Chicago Auto Show

If the Volkswagen GTI is considered to be a loud mouthed defensive back and a little hotshot showoff, then the R32 is the automaker's all-pro linebacker. This vehicle is more reserved, not as swift but packed with more muscle.

The R32 has been running the street of Europe for two years now while US is given the GTI which in fairness is a top performing Golf or Rabbit if you prefer. But American buyers are clamoring for the R32 which finally encourage Europe's largest automaker to finally bring the R32 in the US. The R32 is to debut at the Chicago Auto Show.

The R32 is closely identical to the GTI from the outside but the inside and underneath are very different. The GTI is a trim equipped with high quality Volkswagen Golf parts and a single-minded screamer while the R32 takes a more indulgent approach to speed. Custom Parts Might Spoil Auto Stability

Critics in the industry earlier voiced their criticism against custom parts that are allegedly causing some unwanted vehicular incidents. These parts are said to spoil auto stability that further results to vehicle malfunction, accidents and other vehicle problems. This is the reason why several enthusiasts group together and voiced their concern to the federal government. The group urged the latter to ensure that auto add-on auto parts do not spoil car technology.

Millions of vehicles are reported to have malfunctioning electronic stability systems if drivers have customized their vehicles with add-on parts and accessories. This information was divulged by a trade association.

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), a Las Vegas-based group of aftermarket manufacturers, said the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration's (NHTSA) proposal to mandate that all vehicles be equipped with the anti-rollover technology could prevent owners from customizing their cars and trucks or make the stability system inoperative. Officials of SEMA and NHTSA met to discuss the matter. The association worries that the rule will not ensure that the safety systems are compatible when other equipment is added before or after a vehicle is sold, said Stephen McDonald, SEMA's vice president of government affairs, in a letter to the NHTSA.

"This situation could translate into millions of cars having ESC systems that do not work properly or motorists being denied the opportunity to install aftermarket equipment on their vehicle," McDonald wrote.

Approximately 40 per cent of vehicles on the road have electronic stability control or ESC. The NHTSA said its proposal to require the technology in all vehicles by the year 2012 could save up to 10,600 lives a year and eliminate 80 per cent of single-vehicle rollovers. It expects to issue a final rule by April. This auto issue emerges as the vehicle stability control is becoming more and more popular among consumers. McDonald said in an interview that SEMA hopes to report back to the NHTSA about the extent of the problem within 30 days. "The challenge is to convince the agency of the extent of the issue, the types of the equipment, the types of safety concerns," he added. "Some of the equipment that is being installed is indicating a problem. We're not sure how big the problem is or if it can be remedied quickly by a software modification."

Different views regarding the matter are voiced by manufacturers. SEMA suggested equipping ESC systems with "adaptive learning" components that sense if a vehicle has different tires, for instance, and adjusts accordingly. Auburn Hills-based Continental Automotive Systems, which produces about 40 per cent of electronic stability control systems in North America, said it does not consider the issue a major concern.

"If you build your own monster truck, you will very likely get an ESC warning light," said Philis Headley, chief engineer for advanced technologies at Continental. But Headley added "it's hard to predict what people could possibly do to their vehicles and what impact that will have."

Headley said there are only a handful of issues to be decided before a final stability control rule is announced, including whether vehicles have to have ESC when traveling in reverse. At present, ESC systems usually do not work when vehicles are operating in reverse.

Alan Adler, GM spokesman said changing tires "could give you a false ESC indicator on a hard turn. We don't have a system to adapt for those things." GM offers several add-on parts that have been designed to work with its own vehicles.
